Static Brain in the Air Force

Who is Static Brain?

First off, many people in the past have thought that the writer of this blog was male. I don’t know why, but just to clear up all the confusion I am female.

Professionally: I am a freelance translator. I am bilingual, and speak both English and Spanish fluently. I’m a Spanish tutor. I managed a resort in Mexico. I translated for the Mexican Policía Judicial del Estado (PJE - Judicial State Police), and also the local police in the city I lived in.

I was in the U.S.A.F. (United States Air Force). The picture is an old one, but I don’t have a current one right now.

I fix computers when people foul them up. I freelance designing websites, and am a member of the HTML Writer’s Guild, and an associate member of the International Webmaster’s Association.

I write numerous articles and have been published.

I enjoy helping others, and have done charity work for shelters for battered women and children. I also volunteered to tutor forensics/debate and Spanish at the University I attended. I worked for Green Peace, too.

I am left leaning politically. I can’t stand George Bush and what his administration is doing to our country. I am anti-war, anti-globalization, anti-censorship, anti-propaganda and anti-republican.

I am Christian, and I regret what the religious right is doing in the name of religion. It is embarrassing at times to be a Christian with the hate spewing out of the mouths of these right wing apostate-Christians. People tend to think these so-called Christians are representative of Christianity as a whole. However, Christ preached love and tolerance, not hatred and war. Jesus must be crying to see what people do in his name.

My favorite hobby is: pulling people out of the MATRIX. Giving them the truth, nothing more. Truth in an age of deceit is a very important commodity.

I love: reading (especially history, science and documentaries), motorcycles, swimming, web page design and anything else that involves computers, hunting, fishing, time spent with friends and family, Italian food, seafood, music (Country & Western, Classical, Jazz, old Rock & Roll, Tejano and the Blues), volunteer work, almost any outdoor sport, university life, sunshine, optimists and a whole lot more.

I hate: Big Brother, Disinformation, Propaganda, not having enough time in a day to get things done, okra, turnips, when my computer crashes, rain when it pours for days and pessimists.

My motto is: Carpe Diem (Latin for Seize the Day).

My favorite quote: Big Brother wants to line us up, strip us down. Dress us in a numbered gown. Segregated, labeled, and put in place. Nothing but a number with out a face. Each of us locked away in our own little cell. Left to fight alone in our own personal hell.

Personal Favorites:
*People/Heroes: Yehoshua (Hebrew for Jesus Christ)
*Books: The Holy Bible, Helen Keller, The Diary of Anne Frank, Tortured for Christ
*Bands/Artists: Mana, Sarah MacLachlan, John Kasper
*TV Shows: Free Speech T.V., Democracy Now, P.B.S., The History Channel, C-Span, LinkTV, Mosaic
*Movies: O Brother Where Art Thou, Powder, Good Morning Vietnam, The Net, The Matrix
*Actors: Robin Williams, Sandra Bollock
*Games: Pigs - a cool game where you use little plastic pigs instead of dice.
*Sports: Baseball
*Colors: Blue and Black
*Season: Summer
*Food: Lasagna, Shrimp, Crabs, Lobster
*Places: Beaches with palm trees

Right, Bush isn’t really making the world safe from terrorism, but he is the one trigerring such. I’m also a leftist, and what the administration here in the Philippines is currently doing pleases Bush so much. Hope to hear more from you. ;)

Its nice to see someone be honest about who they really are, and what they are about - male or female.

As for me, well - I can’t in all honesty blame Bush. I mean granted he is the one person pushing forward some awfull inititives for a ‘free people’, but he was elected there by its free population of the United States. Even I to regret voting him in office, but I have to stand by my decision. We can only hope that we as citizens, learn from our mistake and try to actually listen to what these candidates are actually saying.

Thanks for the site with many good links. I will also compliment you on the simple and usable layout as well.

As for yourself leaning ‘Left’, I certainly hope you mean ‘Libertarian’ and NOT ‘Socialist’. Libertarian is what the real ‘Left’ is supposed to be in the USA. I also think that strict Constitutionalism is what the ‘Right’ ought to be. However, therein lies the rub. A ‘Constitutionalist’ and a ‘Libertarian’ are supposed to be THE SAME THING!

StaticBrain, I hope you do realize and understand that your ‘Left’ slant, as opposed to the ‘Right’, is all part of the ‘Hegelian Dialectic’ in which two, or more, “opposing” sides are created artificially. You know, thesis-antithesis-synthesis, otherwise known as ‘Problem - Reaction - Solution’. In other words, organizations such as GreenPeace and DemocracyNow are funded and controlled from the very top by the evil puppet masters that control both the Democrat and Republican parties and manipulate ALL world events.

Small example, when Amy Goodman and Dan Rather were recently asked about the Bilderberg meeting, they both acted as if they didn’t know what the questioner was talking about. Are you kidding me? Dan Rather is a Bilderberg ‘member’ and Amy Goodman should full well know about this group, who meet in secret each year to actually circumvent democracy. That should tell you a great deal about these two who claim to be democratically-oriented “journalists”.

It ALL comes from the top staticbrain. Break the Left-Right paradigm!

    Take care.

I want to know more, squidcat! I feel so naive in my knowledge of the world and how it really works.
