Hi, It’s me Static Brain. I want to give you all a quick update, and let you know whats going on. I am blogging from home, in a hospital bed, on my laptop. It’s very hard, almost impossible, because the back brace keeps cutting into me. But I wanted to get on and thank everyone for their prayers, and well wishes. So thank you, and keep the prayers coming. It makes me very happy to know you all care, and I can use all the prayers I can get. The bony part of the spinal column that I pulverized in the fall will have to regrow, but I am slowly recovering, and I thank God there is no spinal cord damage. I miss you all, and hope to get back to blogging soon. And now back to sleep I go, because the pain pills are making me groggy

On a serious note this is static’s daughter some of you know me others do not. My mom fell and broke her back yesterday. It is pretty bad. 25% of her spine is crushed. The doctor said its like taking a jelly donut and smashing it on the side of the pavement. They are going to put her on complete and utter bed rest for 3 months straight. Any of you who really know my mother knows this will make her go nuts from lack of being able to talk to her friends, post and stuff like that. I have complete and utter faith in her that she will recover from this. She wanted me to let you all know that she will be back to posting as soon as possible. All thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated. She misses you all.

My mother died 2 years ago on July 8th, 2006. I miss her tremendously, and always will. Time has lessened the pain, but the wound never heals. My heart is still bleeding. The wound is still raw. With that in mind, I want to share her favorite song “He walks with me” (In the garden) by Anne Murray. My grandmother sang this to my mother when she was a little girl. My mother sang it to me. I sang it to my children. It is amazingly beautiful, yet it makes my heart ache to hear it. (Turn your speakers up, the volume is a little low)

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16″
