My mother died last Saturday afternoon. I wanted to share her favorite song “He walks with me” (In the garden) by Anne Murray. My grandmother used to sing this to my mother when she was a little girl. My daughter sweet_one4now wrote her a poem. I would also like to share a poem my son Cue_Ball wrote for his grandmother while she lay dying in the hospital.

For a few days, death is here.
For one we love, a new life is near.
74 yrs, it will be.
Such a wonderful time, not only for me.
When she will pass, it will hurt us dear.
The time we have spent, she’s shown no fear.
We love her so much, it hurts so bad.
But in heaven, we know she’ll be glad.
Tough times will come, from this trial so great.
Tribulations will come, but we will not break.
Hot summer days, a picnic in the grass.
These are the memories, that will surely last.
Laughter and tears, both we have seen.
Milking the cows, and churning the cream.
Picking up eggs, and cooking the beans.
Washing the laundry, and drying the jeans.
So many memories, most of them will last.
Never can we forget, our wonderful past.
Tough times we have seen, but we’ve made it through.
Stronger we’ve got, this much is true.
A door will close, so very soon.
A new one will open, on a bright moon.
One we may lose, that we love so dear.
Another will come, with in a year.
end of poem
And something i would like to add:
“It broke our hearts to lose you. However, you did not go alone for part of us went with you the day God called you home. God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be so he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to me.” With a tearful eye we watched you and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best. ” Author Unknown
From Your Loving Daughter: I know you are at peace now, yet I miss you immensely. Knowing you’re at peace, brings comfort to my sad heart. I know God will take care of you, deep in my heart. I love you very much and miss you dearly. My heart is saddened by your departure.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16″

My dear Static,
I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with your family and your mum. *hugs*
Take care.
Thanks mom hugggg huggggg. I love you and everything will be ok. Remember you always use to tell me our time here on earth is short compared to the time we spend in eternity. We will get to see her again someday. And she is better off where shes at. No more pain.
God Bless You
I’m so sorry to hear this, Static. I can fully appreciate the pain and emptiness you’re feeling right now. It’s been over two years since my mom died … and I still think about her, and talk to her, every day.
My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you.
((hugs))
Hi Static,
I’m very sad to here about your mom. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this difficult time.
Your mom really isn’t gone. Right now she is watching over you and pulling a couple of strings in your favor. Love doesn’t die especially the kind of love a parent has for their child. It continues on and make us stronger individuals.
Good Luck Static. Again we are sorry to hear about your loss.

Static….
I just got back from a camping trip. I would have commented sooner, if I was here.
It hurts to lose our “loved” ones. It is hard to admit that they need to move on, when their in pain. It’s so hard to let them go, we become so used to their presence, but things change and things happen. We can only believe and hope it is for the best. Static if you need to talk, you got my e-mail… melisawaid@hotmail.com Don’t Hesitate!
With Love…
