I knew the election was rigged and so did a lot of other people. Now the proof is starting to come in. All of this because Ohio was what gave Bush the votes he needed to win.

CLEVELAND Two election workers were convicted Wednesday of rigging a recount of the 2004 presidential election to avoid a more thorough review in Ohio’s most populous county.

Jacqueline Maiden, elections coordinator of the Cuyahoga County Elections Board, and ballot manager Kathleen Dreamer each were convicted of a felony count of negligent misconduct of an elections employee. They also were convicted of one misdemeanor count each of failure of elections employees to perform their duty.

Prosecutors accused Maiden and Dreamer of secretly reviewing preselected ballots before a public recount on Dec. 16, 2004. They worked behind closed doors for three days to pick ballots they knew would not cause discrepancies when checked by hand, prosecutors said.

Defense attorney Roger Synenberg has said the workers were following procedures as they understood them.

Ohio gave President Bush the electoral votes he needed to defeat Democratic Sen. John Kerry in the close election and hold on to the White House in 2004.

They were most definitely rigged. I knew this for quite some time. I am just glad to see some convictions being handed down. It is too bad though that only a few paltry election workers will get the axe, when you know the orders came all the way from the administration itself. Anyone who doubts that they were rigged just needs to run a search on black box voting.

    OHIO 2004: 6.15% Kerry-Bush vote-switch found in probability study.

Defining the vote outcome probabilities of wrong-precinct voting has revealed, in a sample of 166,953 votes (1 of every 38 Ohio votes), the Kerry-Bush margin changes 6.15% when the population is sorted by probable outcomes of wrong-precinct voting.

The Kerry to Bush 6.15% vote-switch differential is seen when the large sample is sorted by probability a Kerry wrong-precinct vote counts for Bush. When the same large voter sample is sorted by the probability Kerry votes count for third-party candidates, Kerry votes are instead equal in both subsets.

My question, if we can prove that the 2004 election was rigged, why was Bush allowed to remain in office?
This appalls me! Is it a win at any cost. What is happening to our country. Are we really a democratic society?
I hope nothing happens to the 2008 election results, we need a change for the better and I do not see this happening with McCain!
