Since I started this website I have been called every name under the sun. But the most insulting of all, a real insulting one, is “UnAmerican”. On that note, check out what I think of that. (flash: may take a minute to load)
Didn’t Know I Was Unamerican

While you are at it why don’t you tell me what you think. Am I UnAmerican?

Hey! Thanks for posting the song. I’m delighted that it speaks for you, too.
hey if being unamerican means that we stand up for what we beleive in then so be it.Go static  and this is a great song!!
YOU unAmerican? Yeah right. Sure. :silly: … and the Pope’s not Catholic either …
Puh-leeeeze! I just love people who make comments like that, as if they KNOW you, walk in your shoes, live in your head. You can’t imagine the things I’ve been called on my blog — none of which I can even hint at here. My mother always told me that some people are just born buttholes and never recover. People like that just make me want to slam my head up against a wall — wait, I take that back, they make me want to slam they head up against a wall — wait, I’m a pacifist — they make me shake my head as if they were gnats buzzing around my house … they’re just annoying.
Love the song! If that person didn’t give you anything else, it gave you a perfect opportunity to post the flash.
Hope you’re feeling well.
A linkie sounds good. I’m sorry its taken me so long to get back to you. I’ll add it to my blogspot page asap.
Thanks
Hey! Where do I go to sign up to be ‘un-American’?!
It only matters what you think of yourself.
Wow… If they didn’t like you.. then why do they read your blog? Weird.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Your page is interesting too… It’s good for a morning read with a cup of coffee… Loves!
Stop by anytime! I enjoy the comments! And I LOVE your smilies… :winky:
I wish you had a TAGBOARD still. LOL
I’m OK sort of, just down emotionally. My 83yr old friend Hallie’s one 16yr old kitty is ill and probally dying. Hallie is extreemly upset because her Shawnie is the last part of whats left from her oldest dead son (both sons passed before her). We will know more by next week.
Plus winter is lasting too long.
i wonder what is the criterion or what are the criteria to be american…. but of course, you speak here in this blog what is the common good for the majority of the american people… and what is not american in that? Just because you are against those who are power mongrels who..well.. we all know what they are!
Pendoodles: I do have a tagboard right column. LOL I guess you overlooked it. :silly:
Eh, I’ve been called unamerica and unpatriotic, but I don’t really mind. It’s better than being a mindless “patriotic” drone. Besides, there are so many different definitions for “american” out there. I prefer to use it as a purely descriptive term, describing people residing in America.
I am pretty sure I would rather be Unamerican than part of the real America.
You’re about as ‘unamerican’ as Johnny Cash or Pete Seeger.
A good majority of the people who throw terms like that around show their IQs via their verbal etiquette. They get frustrated by the fact that even they’re uncomfortable with something but are too afraid themselves to speak out against it. Rather than stand shoulder to shoulder with those who do or at least maintain distance, they’d chose to attack the persons pointing out the gaping hole in the leaky boat.
All I can say to that is ‘Give them all the hell you can muster and twice as much as they can take in reply’.
Glad you all agree. Me UnAmerican? It is totally a joke…
I am one of the most American people on the face of the planet. Too bad some people think that questioning our leaders is UnAmerican. What they forget is that dissent, activism, , exposing lies, truth, having the right to a difference of opinion, free speech, etc…, are all totally American.
Profiteering robber baron thug President George Bush said: “You are either with us or you are with the terrorists.” But George had things a bit screwed up. George isn’t a true American when he says we help terrorism by pointing out all the scandals he caused and all the lies he told to start a war for oil and imperialistic resource grabbing.
Abraham Lincoln was a true American. As Abraham Lincoln (16th president of the USA) once said:
It’s ok to have a comment.
Static, you are about as UnAmerican as apple pie and hot dogs.
People just love to put down things they don’t understand. Your website is probably way over their intelligence level. They have had their heads stuck in the ground so long, like an ostrich who buries his head in the sand, that they refuse to see what is going on around them. For one, you scare them because you are so smart. For two, they don’t want to know or face the truth, because then it would challenge their status qou. They are just sheeple :sheep:, and they want to remain that. Tell them to jump and they say how high.
Sad but true.
Don’t worry what they think. besides they are most likely the “Unamericans”
